Will Trump end the Russia-Ukraine war within 100 days?

US President-elect Donald Trump and his administration plan to begin work immediately after being sworn in on Monday. High on their agenda is ending the war in Ukraine.
100 day goal
Trump's special envoy, retired US General Keith Kellogg, told Fox News on January 8, "I want to set a goal on a personal and professional level, talking about 100 days."
Although this is an optimistic timeframe, it is short enough for the war to enter three years this coming February.
Trump had previously said in May 2023 that he would end the war within 24 hours of taking office as president. Later at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on January 7, he said it would be a "difficult discussion".
